Quick Overview

  • Important: Install required plugins before importing a profile so actions load correctly.

Stream Deck Icon Packs vs. Stream Deck Profiles — What’s the Difference?

Stream Deck Icon Packs are collections of images that you can use to customize the look of your Stream Deck keys. They don’t change what your keys do — they simply replace the default icons with themed designs. For example, our N2 Neon Stream Deck Icon Pack and MARVELOOSE! Stream Deck Icons instantly give your setup a fresh, themed look without altering your key functions.

Stream Deck Profiles, on the other hand, are complete pre-configured layouts that control your apps, games, or tools. They come with all the actions already assigned to keys, often organized into multiple pages. Profiles can also include custom icons, so you’re getting both style and functionality in one package. A perfect example is our Emotecraft — World of Warcraft Emote Profile, which is preloaded with 250+ in-game emotes, fully mapped and ready to use.

In short:

  • Icon Packs = Change the look of your keysd
  • Profiles = Change what your keys do (and often how they look too)
