Before you start
Follow these quick steps to set up your new Reactive Overlay:
Open Streamlabs Desktop
- Launch Streamlabs on your PC and open the scene where you want to add your Reactive Overlay.
Go to “Sources”
- In the bottom section, click the “+” icon to add a new source.
Select “Reactive Source”
- Choose Reactive Source (Streamlabs AI) from the list of source types.
Add the Source
- Click “Add Source” and give it a name (for example: BF6 HUD Reactive Overlay).
Paste the URL
- Copy the overlay URL provided in your download or product page, then paste it into the URL field.
Click “Done”
- That’s it! Your overlay will now automatically react to in-game events in real time, no manual editing needed. Tip: You can resize or move the overlay in your scene to fit your layout perfectly. Common problems
How to reset your Reactive Overlay Counters
Streamlabs AI automatically resets all Reactive Overlay sources when you start streaming. However, sometimes we might want to reset them to display our current K/D ratio for the current specific game match.
Reset Stream Labels
Click Settings, then General. You're gonna see a button labeled 'Reset Stream Labels'. Click on it, then click on your Reactive Source's little eye button to hide it. Then click again to turn it back on. Your counters should reset to zero.
Alternative Reset Method
Click 'Go Live' and then click on 'End Stream'. This will reset all your reactive overlay counters to zero.Streamlabs is actively working on a way for users to easily reset their counters if they wish, so we'll update this post with more information soon!
