Turning Lore into a Visual System

The foundation of the project was the Seaking itself: a regal sea creature that blends the silhouette of a jellyfish with strawberry-like forms. Those rounded nodules are not decorative fruit. Within the story, they represent fragments of memory gathered by the creature.

That idea gave the identity several meaningful visual ingredients to work with:

• A crown to communicate the creature's royal title.

• Tentacles and waves to connect it to the coast and the sea.

• Memory fragments expressed through the strawberry-like nodules.

• Laurel-inspired framing to give the mark the weight of an illustrated crest.

The logo exploration tested different balances between mascot, emblem, and wordmark before resolving into a layered identity with angular lettering, ocean blues, natural greens, and an ornate silhouette. It feels substantial enough to anchor the brand while retaining the unusual charm of its central character.

The final crowned jellyfish logo turns Mareth's memory-collecting creature into a recognizable symbol for the channel.

A Coast That Changes with the Stream

Rather than building unrelated scenes for each broadcast state, the package returns to one carefully designed coastal shelter at different moments of the day. The environment appears at dawn or daytime, at dusk, and at night. This creates variety while making every screen feel like another chapter in the same location.

Fishing nets, tools, pots, charms, carvings, and weathered materials suggest the lives that once moved through Mareth. These details keep the background from feeling like a generic seaside illustration. They tell the story indirectly, leaving traces of an unseen human presence without overwhelming the practical information a stream screen needs to display.

The palette supports that progression. Coastal blues, greens, and aged neutrals define the daytime world. Dusk introduces warmer orange light, while the night version moves into deep blues and a more bioluminescent atmosphere. The mood changes, but the architecture and visual identity remain familiar.

The illustrated world extends across Starting Soon, Be Right Back, Ending, and Offline layouts. Vertical versions support mobile and short-form formats, so the identity is not confined to a single 16:9 broadcast canvas.

The final screen system adapts Starting Soon, BRB, Ending, and Offline scenes across horizontal and vertical formats without leaving the coastal world of Mareth.

Typography plays an important role in keeping the ornate artwork readable. Cinzel and complementary serif styling give the package a storybook and historical tone, while clear hierarchy ensures that labels and stream information remain easy to scan. Decorative framing stays around the content rather than competing with it.

Webcam layouts were also developed in multiple ratios and visual states. That flexibility lets the streamer change scene composition while keeping the same recognizable materials, curves, and color accents.

Daytime, dusk, and night webcam frames preserve the same carved wood, leaves, and strawberry details as the wider package.

Widgets That Belong to the World

One of the strongest advantages of a fully custom package is continuity between the artwork and the live information on screen. Instead of placing generic utility boxes over the environment, the Strawberry Seaking design carries its visual language into the Chat Box, alerts, Event List, and Goal Bar.

These elements use the same coastal-fantasy cues as the main scenes. Frames, panels, colors, and small illustrated details make the widgets feel built into Mareth rather than added after the fact. Day, dusk, and night states also allow the information layer to follow the mood of the environment.

That choice connects a functional broadcast moment (the cut between scenes) back to the sea and the mythology behind the brand. It is a good example of motion design doing more than filling time: it reinforces the story every time the streamer changes scenes.
