After years of anticipation, Insomniac finally confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 in Fall 2026. The new trailer not only showcased brutal gameplay but also revealed the game’s official cover art, designed in collaboration with legendary comic artist Jock.
Players will step into the shoes of Logan, voiced by Liam McIntyre, as he hunts for answers to a dark and elusive past. The trailer teased iconic locations such as Madripoor, the snowy wilderness of Canada, and the bustling streets of Tokyo, setting the stage for a global thriller filled with bloody, high-intensity battles. Familiar faces like Mystique, Omega Red, and the Reavers are set to appear—along with a glimpse of a menacing robotic threat at the end of the trailer.
Insomniac promises to deliver the “ultimate Wolverine fantasy,” with fast, fluid, and savage combat at its core. Wolverine’s adamantium claws will unleash devastating executions, while his berserker rage adds weight and speed to every strike. The game will also feature robust accessibility options and a darker, more brutal story compared to the studio’s Spider-Man titles.
