We created a step-by-step YouTube tutorial to help you through the process: How to Change Overlay Colors in Streamlabs (Easy Tutorial) by StreamSpell
⚠️ What You Can’t Recolor This Way:
The Color Correction filter does not work on animated transitions (like .webm stinger files), since those are pre-rendered videos with built-in colors that can’t be edited.
Looking for more flexibility? Some StreamSpell packages, like the Night Realm Stream Package, include transitions in multiple color versions, so you can choose the one that fits your stream’s aesthetic without needing to edit anything.
Examples of Stream Packages with Easy Color Customization:
Here are two stream overlay packages from StreamSpell that support easy color adjustments using OBS or Streamlabs filters:
1. ULTRAMARATHON Stream Package
Theme: Sci-Fi HUD / FPS
Color Customization: Yes, fully customizable via filters
Platforms: OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop, StreamElements, Meld Studio, XSplit and more
The ULTRAMARATHON Stream Package was designed with color customization in mind. Inspired by Bungie’s Marathon, the overlay features a sleek sci-fi HUD interface with neon accents and high-contrast UI elements that remain easy to read during intense FPS gameplay.
Because of this design approach, you can quickly recolor the entire overlay using the Color Correction filter inside your streaming software. This allows creators to adapt the look of the package to match their stream branding in just a few minutes.
Watch the quick tutorial below to see how the color customization works in practice:
In this tutorial you’ll learn how to add Color Correction filters and copy them across multiple overlay sources. This method works not only in Streamlabs Desktop but also in OBS Studio, Meld Studio, and other streaming apps that support source filters.
Beyond color customization, ULTRAMARATHON also includes a full stream setup designed for modern creators.
Key features include:
Animated stream screens (Starting, BRB, Just Chatting, Ending)
Vertical versions for dual-output and multistream setups
Themed stream widgets such as Chat Box, Event List, Goal Bars, and Alert Box
Reactive overlays for Streamlabs with counters and gameplay reactions
Animated stinger transition and webcam overlays
Modular stream labels for events like follows, subs, and tips
Stream Deck bundle with icons, profile, and screensaver
The result is a complete sci-fi themed stream environment where overlays, widgets, and controls all share the same Marathon-style aesthetic.
2. MARVELOOSE! Stream Package
Theme: Superhero / Comic-Style
Color Customization: Yes, via Color Correction filter
Color Options: Manual Hue Shift with filters
Includes: Animated screens, alerts, widgets, webcam overlay, and 1 stinger transition
Dual Output Support: Yes (horizontal and vertical)
